Several readers have mentioned the Agent Bayne paperback is out of stock at Amazon. It’s not uncommon for print-on-demand paperbacks to have a status like “1-2 week delivery” to account for the printing time. I suspect it says “out of stock” instead because I listed the paperback as a preorder, so it triggered some other status. I’ve asked customer service both at Amazon and at Lightningsource (my printer) and, as I expected, they each point the finger at one another for the holdup.
In the meanwhile, you can order Agent Bayne from some other places. They all print the book on demand so it would take about an extra week for production, in addition to shipping time.
